Beratan Lake (Danau Beratan)

Beratan Lake is one of the three lakes are located in Bedugul area, and one of them limit the two districts in the south of Tabanan and Buleleng in the north. Bedugul is identical to the mountains, flowers, and fruits, because local conditions are cold, the flowers and fruits are very easily found there.

Beratan lake itself is very well known, because the temple is located around the lake. It's called Pura Ulun Danu Beratan. Pictures of the temple is a lot and often appears in several brochures that promote tourism island of Bali. The uniqueness of this temple lies a little bit to the middle of the lake. At the time of high lake water, we can not even see the road or land that connects the temple with the edge of the lake. In the area around this temple we can also hire small boats to get around in the middle of the lake.
